Girls just wanna have fun!
All the girls wanted a pedicure...everyone except Seattle that is. She didn't have a choice in the matter. I figured that when she gets older, she'll be happy she participated in this event. It was fun, they all wanted "tatts" on too, so we put a couple on everyone. I offered to have Boston get in the photo shoot, sporting his "plain" nails, but he said, "Na, I just want to play the Wii." Probably a smart thing to say. Poor kid! It's only going to get worse with dad at work all day and mom and 4 sisters home all day!
Later on, Madison decided she had so much fun getting a pedicure, she'd try to give herself another one. I thought she was still taking a nap on my bed...Oh how wrong I was. (Yes...that is black nail polish from halloween. And yes, that is also nail polish around her eye!) I'm glad that the only one with a fatal wound is our carpet:( Whew!

Good Morning!
As snug as bugs in a rug! (As my mom used to say) Did you see my new sheets with the marker on them too, from Madison!
Ok, so I think it might be time for an upgrade, from Queen to King that is! I was so tired last night, that we put the kids to bed a little early, knowing that they weren't quite going to fall asleep yet. I was awakened first by Madison...I don't remember what time it was, but she was wide awake and telling me some kind of story...really loudly. Scared the baby might wake up, I grabbed her and put her between Phil and I. I was too tired to try and make her stay in her own bed. Around 4:30 or so the baby started waking up and wouldn't keep her pacifier in, so I grabbed her and put her in between Madison and I. The next thing I know, Phil is walking into the room all chipper, it's 6:30! While I start to roll over, I notice I'm pretty stiff, as if I'd been stuck in one position for awhile. I soon discovered 4 very good reasons! I looked over and found that Brooklyn and Boston had come in too! What the heck? I have no idea why or when they came in, but all four of their feet were somehow touching me!
The only one that stayed in her bed ironically, is the only one who tells me everynight, "Good night mom, I'll see you in the morning, or the night if I get scared!" Paris! Yea!

Playing Dress Up!
On Sunday the girls were playing in their room when Brooklyn announced "Princess Madison!" Phil and I thought "Homeless Madison" was more appropriate, but were cracking up nonetheless! So here is our homeless "Princess Madison"...made possible by Brooklyn and Paris. (They're available for any toddler who may need a make over!)
Oh yeah and in case the toddler has a problem with "protection" meet our bodyguard for hire...Bad Man Boston! I bet nobody wants a piece of this crazy man?!!

Addicted to shoes!
Madison has this overwhelming love of shoes! Anytime anyone comes over, especially Paris' friend Maddy...it's like Christmas for her! She will stand quietly watching you at the door...waiting until those shoes come off! She wears shoes that are way too big, way too small, high heels, flip flops, dress shoes, tennis shoes, but her absolute favorites are ones with sparkles or jewels!
So lately, we both have bad habits forming. When ever we go to Target...she wants to get out of the cart so I let her "try on" a pair of shoes while staying in the cart so I can get my shopping done. Usually, I can escape by trading her a candy bar for the shoes back...but this time there was no candy or gum worth giving up these shoes! She wore them all afternoon and even took a nap with them on! This morning, she brought them to me and said "Cheese for pretty shoe." (Cheese is code for take a picture) So who could resist? Now, maybe you can see whats so special about these shoes???

Swinging into Action!
It's been 7 years since we've had a new full sized swing! Seattle is great as long as you're holding her or entertaining her somehow. I needed to buy myself a little relief! I've been taking her to the gym daycare about 3 times a week and most of the time she's asleep in their swing when I get back! (She hates our brand new mini swing at home of course:) So I made a run to Target and picked up the same swing. Just in case there is anyone like me who still thought swings only ran on batteries...they don't anymore! This one can plug into an outlet too! I was so excited! I did a test run last night and she fell asleep watching Batman Begins with us (surround sound and all)! I actually felt bad that she fell asleep when I wasn't holding her...but she never cried!! This morning after our "morning playtime" I decided to put her in the swing so I could get some things done and cracked up when I saw that the kids had a put a dog in there with her!! They never leave her alone, she is very loved!

Seattle is 4 months old!
I decided to do a photo shoot with her new 4 month old looks! I love how she kind of looks like a cartoon in this one! Her eyes and head look really big!
She loves to have tummy time now and can lift her self up pretty good.
This is her new attempt at sitting up by herself. There have been a couple times that she has done it by herself for a while, but today it was just a few seconds before she slumps forward. I can't believe how fast the time has flown by!

Elena came to visit!
It was so much fun to have my best friend since junior high come to visit this weekend! She came in on the evening of the 4th and just left today:( We get to talk on the phone, but she hasn't come to visit in almost a year! It was really fun to hang out and act like we were in high school again! I took her to the "Gym" (Lifetime) a couple of times and she fell in love! She is a "running machine" and loves to workout...but had never been to a gym like ours! So that was fun! We went shopping and out to eat on Saturday and Phil bought me a cute Cubs hat for the upcoming game that we're going to. He probably wouldn't want me to call it that, but it is! It's the hat from like 1914 or some jazz like that! Phil was sweet putting up with us and the kids! Saturday Night I invited another friend to come out with us and the three of us had a "girls night out" and got pedicures, did a little shopping, and went out to eat at the Macaroni Grill! It was so much fun! But I think she's glad that she can go home to a little piece and quiet!

Our Sunday best!
Just a glimpse into the "Wyatt" household on a Sunday morn. We bought Boston some new church clothes...and he actually wore them! We buy him the cutest clothes, but he never wants to wear them! So this time he actually wore them and let me do his hair!!!! SO I had to get a picture! Then we dressed Seattle in her new little dress and hat, she had no choice in the matter...luckily! Then as we are about to jam I catch Paris jamming out on her new Disney Ipod! So I snapped that sweet shot too!

Brooklyn got her ears pierced!
Yes, my biggest baby got her ears pierced yesterday! Dad has been begging her to do this for a long time! Paris got them a couple of years ago, but Brooklyn kept passing! Paris didn't even flinch when she got hers done! We knew Brooklyn was a little more sensitive, so we said she could pick out any pair of earrings she wanted. It's been a while since I've gotten my ears pierced, prices have gone way up! Considering that the sign says "free ear piercing" just pay for the earrings, I was thinking 20 bucks. No, try 40! She knew what she was doing! Totally taking advantage! Oh well. She's really happy with her beautiful pink diamonds, and we're happy that she and Paris can both wear earrings now! So here's the beautiful shots of her new earrings!

Happy 4th of July!

We had a fun and relaxing 4th! We decided way last minute to have a BBQ and swim party with all the families that didn't want to go far from home on the 4th! It was really fun! We ate...swam....ate some more...swam...you get the idea! I had to leave around 7 to pick up my friend Elena from the airport, but was back by 8 for some night swimming with our new pool disco lights! We were going to go and watch the fireworks, but decided to stay home and swim instead. The kids didn't mind, so of course, we were thrilled! Phil hooked up our sweet Gazeebo light that his dad helped him finish and it was beautiful out there! I wish I would have gotten a picture! I forgot all about taking pictures...until too late! Our whole family had matching shirts for the 4th and I totally wanted to take a picture...so stay tuned for a late edition! Hope everyone had a safe and happy 4th!

Check out my Spud!
So as I was cooking dinner tonight, I decided to start peeling the potatoes and pulled this beauty out of the bag!! Isn't it crazy looking?! It even has a little face on it! I jokingly said I would put it on Ebay, but instead I thought I would put him on the blog. He kind of looks like a man stuck in a mummy bag! What do you see???? The picture just doesn't do him justice!
