What a Mother's Day!

It was a wonderful Mother's Day this year! I not only got to spend the day with my two moms (phil's mom too) but also got to have Seattle's blessing! It was pretty sweet I have to admit! I didn't get breakfast in bed...hello, my moms were here, I should have been doing stuff for them! But my dad made french toast, eggs, bacon, and juice for everyone! Breakfast is his specialty! Then I got the best cards from the kids and Phil! I had to share my card from my husband with both moms and I know they were jealous! It's this type of stuff that keeps our marriage going strong! I was laughing so hard...especially when I found the little note he hid in the back! That's an inside joke that we have. We try and give eachother coupons for things with expiration dates...and then hide them until after they expire! That way the thought was there! (It's something my brothers and sisters used to do all the time when we were younger.) P.S. I found his message before it expired!

Arizona Science Center

Since we had my parents and Phil's parents in town this weekend, we decided to explore other things to do around Arizona. We heard great things about the Arizona Science Center, so we gave it a try! My older 3 had a blast and got to learn things, Madison, loved the fact she could run around and play with things. Seattle...lounged in the stroller. We decided to get the year pass so we'll be going back! We didn't get to see everything because when you get a big group together, someone's always hungry, thirsty, tired, poopy, or all of the above...ironically none of the KIDS were...this time!!! J/K No, we really had a lot of fun! It's right next to that Pizza place that became famous on Oprah, so my dad went and talked to the owners to see when the best time to come was. They said to get there around 3:45p.m. and the doors open at 5:oo p.m.! So just in case anyone was wondering how to get to taste some of that pizza, now you know!

Time to Swim!

We've already broken in the pool a couple of times so far this year! It's been great for the kids! I refuse to get in until it's atleast 85 but the kids think it's perfect. I'll use the time to soak up some rays on the side for a couple more weeks!

Photo Op!

Okay, so this is as close as it's going to get for family pictures! I've been slacking in the "all the kids together" photos. So I decided to round everyone up and take some snap shots of everyone! As you can see it was a bit difficult to get everyone to look at the camera and smile at the same time! It was a bunch of fun though! If you can't tell by looking at the pictures, Madison was talking the ENTIRE TIME! We decided to take a couple of them all individually too so you can see how grown up everyone is getting!

Summer Turns 29!

Yikes, I'm approaching 30! I can't believe it! I had fun opening presents at home from all the kids and enjoying some fun surprises from Phil. He surprised me with some great gifts, of course...but he also ordered me the Olive Garden lemon cheesecake for my birthday cake and arranged for some friends and I to go the movies! It was really fun! We saw a really boring movie, "Leather Heads" but the company was great! (Sorry if anyone actually saw this movie and liked it!)

Also a huge thanks to all my family and friends who called me, sent me cards, text messages, and gifts! I love hearing from all of you!

Madison Turns 2!

I can't believe she's already 2! It goes by so fast! She started out so happy and then I told her she was 2 and it went down hill fast! I guess 2 is a hard year for everyone involved! We had our good friends the Beck's over for cake and icecream, which of course made Madison very happy! She loves to follow Talen around. He's like 7 or 8 months older than her and she just thinks he's the greatest! I'm sure he could care less but he's sweet with her! If we ever want her to go somewhere or do something, we just include the word Talen in the sentence! It's super cute. She though we were absolutely crazy when we put the burning candle on top of her cupcake! She didn't really want anything to do with it after that, it was so funny. The other kids enjoyed watching her open her presents and of course sharing her cupcakes! I think she's coming to terms that she's gonna be 2 for awhile!

Trip to the Zoo!

I've been a little behind posting some pictures! Here is our first trip to the Phoenix Zoo! We went in March when Seattle was a little over 2 weeks. It was a little warm outside and we definitely got our exercise for the day! The kids had fun checking out the animals and we had fun watching them get so excited. My sister Sky was visiting so we thought this might be a fun idea. I recommend going no earlier than October and no later than March. It would be crazy to be out there during the summer! My kids enjoyed the Monkeys the most...I wonder why? Maybe because there's a huge resemblence in behavior????

The Hunt is on...

This year was the first year that some of our kids are getting smart and sneaky enough to sneak down and try to catch the "Easter Bunny", ha luckily it was a few steps ahead! They did however manage to sneak a peak at all their basket goodies before mom and dad had a chance to come down stairs! I swear my kids dress themselves in the sweetest outfits to go to sleep in too! I never care until it's Easter morning and have the camara's out! Oh well. We weren't going to go to church since I am still on my "baby quarantine" time! (We team teach CTR 5!) Sky was great to have around and I'm sure she enjoyed waking up before 7 to open Easter baskets!

St. Patty's Day Clan!

This month seems to be flying by! We had to show our Irish pride by dressing up for St. Patty's Day! Mom was still here and made the best corn beef, cabbage, potatoes and carrots! It reminded me of home when we were little! Brooklyn won the spelling bee for her class and came in second place for her grade. Then she made student of the month for March and had straight E's for the second quarter in a row! We are very proud of her! On another positive note, Boston got 4 E's this quarter on his report card...which is HUGE!!! So we're pretty proud of our students! We also were able to celebrate my mom's 40 something birthday with hour long massages at the Red Door spa! Phil treated us both...it was sooooo relaxing! He also did wonderful at his first time with just the kids (all 5)! He's the greatest dad in the world. He loves to have the kids and is never short on offering to send me out for "girl" time with my friends or just solo! He's the best dad ever!

Meet Seattle Brooke Wyatt

Okay so I was enduced on Monday, March 10th! I went in around 4 in the morning! Yes, they schedule them at the most opportune times! My sister Shavonne and my mom were great sports waking up so early with me! Thanks to Sandy and Kim my other 4 were being well taken care of! We arrived around 4 and they got me started on the enduction around 6:30. Three hours later Seattle was born! It was by far the best and easiest delivery! I of course had an epidural and it worked this time! I felt great!! So at 9:30am our little 8lb girl finally arrived! The nurses were very impressed with my calm demeanor...I think Shavonne was a little impressed too! But then again it was baby #5! Too bad we're done...I think I could do a few more like that...but then again...WE'RE DONE!!! Sorry it's taken us so long to get the pictures up, but now they're on and thanks so much to everyone that's called and emailed about us both! It meant a lot to us all!

Brooklyn's Baptism Party!

We were lucky enough to have quite a few family members travel here for her special day! She had her Grandparents, Great-Grandma, Aunt Shauna and two cousins, Makenzie and Amaya, from Utah come and visit from the Wyatt side! Brooklyn really loved seeing them again! She doesn't get to play with many cousins, so it was a short and sweet treat!
She also had her Aunt Shavonne and Uncle Greg along with cousin Haven from Utah come to visit too! Her Pittson side Grandparents and Aunt Sky were able to come too! Sky and Shavonne had fun doing her hair all weekend...we all loved the cute styles!
We want to thank all of our other family and friends for coming and fitting her day into your schedules too! It really meant a lot to her and all of us!
Her Grandma Debbie made her special baptism dress that she was baptised in. She looked like a princess! We're so proud of her!
