Kindergarten Graduation!

Their school colors are maroon and black, so when they took their pictures a while back...this color seemed fitting!

Where did the yellow come from???

I can't believe how fast this year has flown by! Today was Paris' Kindergarten Graduation...which of course meant music, cap & gowns, a slideshow, refreshments, and diplomas! This was the first year that they actually rented cap & gowns...which is cute, but is it necessary? Oh well, I'm sure they all loved the EXTRA attention! We didn't take home a program, because they left Paris' name off the list! She's the last name on the last page...and it was either cut off, or left off:( We didn't mention that to her, but were a little bummed. Geez!

They marched on stage to the classic "graduation" theme music, then sang 2 cute songs about graduating to 1st grade, followed by diplomas, then on to a cute little slide show. After the "ceremony" we went to her class and were able to snap a shot with her and her teacher. They let the kids have their little tassles from their caps, and bubbles which seemed to be a hit! The classroom still had some of their "luau" theme going on from yesterday's party, which the teachers really went all out on! Paris came home with a hula skirt and a sweet coconut themed cup! SO way to go Kindergarten!

Here are some before and afters...

Taken on her first day of Kindergarten...

Doesn't she look ready to tackle 1st grade? It went by sooo fast!

(We thought her shirt was so appropriate!)
